Judy & John are a sweet, relaxed couple. Traditional Hindu weddings run three days long and consist of many ceremonies, traditions and beautiful colours.
The mehndi was an event filled with her side of the family blessing her through their traditions and fun yellow ceremony. Lots of family love to go around!
The chaos of everyone getting ready at the same time was exciting and beautiful to capture. The colours! We can't get over them. It's really something you have to experience.
Finally it is reception day. We started with getting ready photos and headed downtown Toronto for photos.
Thankfully we had a backup plan for the rain so we ended up at Weslodge in Toronto for cool, antique/modern images. Judy & John were a stunning couple and their outfit styles worked so well for this shoot.
After the photo shoot, we headed over to the Embassy Grand in Brampton, which is this gorgeous banquet hall and event centre where the ceiling looks like a beautiful starry night. The decor is modern and it feels like you're walking into an enchanted venue, especially how Judy and John had it done up. Their first dance looked like it was taking place in the middle of a clear, night sky.
